The Key Laboratory of Enhanced Heat Transfer and Energy Conservation, Ministry of Education


Founded in 2000 with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the Lab currently is the only key university base that is engaged in the efficient utilization of energy and energy-saving research. Its research fields include energy system integration and optimization, theory and application of field synergy of heat exchange process, research and application of efficient shell-and-tube heat exchanger, architectural energy-saving theory and practice based on new dehumidification technology, high-tech application of energy science etc. At present, there is a staff of 60 working at the Lab, including 2 winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and 1 Special Professor of the Cheung Kong Scholar Program.
