1 Profile of the base
Founded in 2006 with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the research center conducts researches mainly on major science and technology problems in the deep processing of starch and plant protein, with its research directions towards starch new modification and control technology, starch-based biological material preparation technology, starch sugar bioconversion and highly efficient production integration technology, plant protein functional modification technology, deep processing intensifying and separating key technology and devices etc. There are currently 33 staff members in the center, including 1 distinguished professor who is Cheung Kong Scholar, 1 fellow of Australian Royal Institute of Chemistry.
