摘要:Optical tweezers have been widely used at the forefront of numerous studies in the natural sciences, and are constantly yielding new insights across various disciplines, particularly in the field of nanotechnology and biomedical applications. Nevertheless, flexible manipulation techniques with multifunctional capabilities are still in great demand towards biomedical detection and precise diagnosis/therapy. In this talk, I will present some recent progresses based on optical fiber tweezers with multifunctional capabilities from cell trapping, to assembly and actuation. The flexible trapping and manipulation capability enable precise single cell analysis, while the assembly capability allows us to form living biophotonic waveguides and bioprobes for bio-detection with high biocompatibility. In addition, I will also show living micromotor via the actuation of single cells with multifunctional biomedical applications.

报告人简介:辛洪宝,暨南大学纳米光子学研究院教授,博士生导师。分别为2011年和2016年在中山大学获得本科和博士学位,之后在新加坡国立大学和加州大学伯克利分校进行科研工作,于20187月加入暨南大学纳米光子学研究院。主要研究方向为光学操控、生物微马达、细胞内部光学探索等。在Nature Reviews MaterialsNature CommunicationsAdvanced MaterialsLight: Science & ApplicationsNano Letters等发表论文40余篇。研究成果被诺贝尔物理学奖获得者、美国科学院/工程院/医学院院士、加拿大工程院院士、澳大利亚科学院院院士、中科院院士等在NatureNature MaterialsNature Nanotechnology等多次正面评价。获广东省杰出青年基金,广东省自然科学一等奖(排名2)、全国光学优秀博士学位论文奖等。
