Journal of South China University of Technology (Natural Science Edition)


Journal of South China University of Technology (Natural Science Edition), or abbreviated as JSCUT, is sponsored by South China University of Technology (SCUT), under the auspices of the Department of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education of China. First published in 1957 under the title Journal of South China Institute of Technology, it is a comprehensive academic periodical focusing on science and technology. The journal was issued quarterly until 1993 (Volume 29), and since 1995 it has been published as a monthly periodical. It is now openly distributed both at home (CN 44-1251/T) and abroad ( ISSN 1000-565X).

Serving as a showcase for SCUT’s academic achievements, the journal regularly publishes high-quality research by professors and students of SCUT and reports their findings and major academic activities, thereby forming close ties between SCUT and global academic circles.

As one of the major sci-tech journals in China, JSCUT has been classified as a key comprehensive technical periodical by A Guide to the Core Journal of China.
