The School of Electronics and Information at SCUT held an appointment ceremony for a visiting professor and an academic lecture in the Lecture Hall of the Yifu Science Building. Li Haizhou, an internationally renowned expert in speech and language processing, Fellow of the Academy of Engineering Singapore, and distinguished alumnus of the School of Electronics and Information, was appointed as a visiting professor at the university and delivered a special academic lecture on October 13, 2025.
