Thesis Plagiarism Check (2025 Version)

1. Please conduct thesis plagiarism check in accordance with the latest degree application procedures issued by the Graduate School.

2. After completing the preliminary work, applicants shall submit the thesis plagiarism check application in the Postgraduate System on time, and upload the following materials (excluding classified theses):

Thesis (PDF version): Naming format: 10561_Student ID_LW.pdf

Thesis main body: Generally in WORD version, including only the introduction, main text, and conclusion. Naming format: 10561_Student ID_ZT.docx.

Chinese abstract (TXT version): Naming format: 10561_Student ID_ZY.txt.

Special Emphasis: The thesis main body must be a WORD version containing only the core sections (introduction, main text, conclusion). Footnotes shall be added and edited via the References menu in WORD; otherwise, the system will identify them as main text content. If the thesis requires special processing via PDF editing software, a PDF version may be submitted instead. The following content must be removed from the main body: cover, originality declaration, copyright authorization letter, Chinese and English abstracts, list of figures/tables and key symbols, table of contents, references, appendices, research achievements obtained during the degree study period, acknowledgment, defense committee resolution, and classification approval form. The naming format of the thesis main body must be 10561_Student ID_ZT.docx (e.g., 10561_201120207169_ZT.docx). The thesis main body will be returned if its format fails to meet the above requirements.

3. After the successful submission of the thesis for similarity check in the system, it will be forwarded to the library after several rounds of review. Applicants shall monitor the system to track the progress of the similarity check. Upon receiving the thesis forwarded by the system, the library will conduct detection using the Academic Misconduct Detection System for Theses and feed back the Detection Report via the Postgraduate System within 3 working days.

A1: After the library receives the push of your similarity check request in the system, the result will be returned in the system within 3 working days.

Q2: I have submitted the application in the system for more than 3 working days, but why haven’t I received the result yet?
A2: After submitting the application in the system, it will not be pushed to the library immediately. It still needs to go through steps such as supervisor review. Please pay attention to the progress prompts in the system and follow up on each link to ensure it is pushed to the library in a timely manner.
Q3: What is the requirement for the thesis similarity rate?
A3: Regarding the similarity rate requirement, each school has different standards. Please consult the academic administrator of your school. The library only provides the similarity check result.
Q4: Will AIGC be included in the similarity check this year?
A4: Currently, according to the requirements of the Academic Degree Office of the Graduate School, the form of similarity check is temporarily the same as in previous years, and AIGC similarity check is not involved.
