Thesis for academic degrees is one of the important literature resources (specialized documents) collected by university libraries. To ensure that the university's thesis resources are continuous and systematic and thus be effectively utilized, postgraduates of this university must submit one printed copy and one electronic copy of their thesis to the library before graduation and leaving the campus. Both versions shall be the final version, and their contents must be completely consistent.

B. The writing format of the thesis must comply with the specifications stipulated in the Writing Standards for Postgraduate Theses of South China University of Technology.
C. Graduates and their supervisors must sign the Originality Declaration of Postgraduate Theses of South China University of Technology and the Authorization Letter for the Use of Thesis Copyright (for electronic documents, the signed version must be scanned to ensure consistency with the printed copy). The new version of the thesis authorization letter shall be used (for details, please refer to the latest edition of the Writing Standards for Postgraduate Theses of South China University of Technology published on the website of the Graduate
D. The electronic copy of the thesis shall be submitted online through the Remote Submission System for Postgraduate Theses of the Library of South China University of Technology.

The full text of the electronic thesis must be in PDF format, and its content shall include the following sections: official front cover, English cover, title page, originality declaration page (copyright page), Chinese and English abstracts, table of contents, main text, references, published papers, thesis defense committee resolution (with a scanned copy of handwritten signatures), and acknowledgment. No password protection shall be set for the file, and a virus check must be performed.
The full text shall be uploaded as an attachment (no need to paste it into the form). The entire thesis must be merged into one complete PDF document(from the cover to the acknowledgment, with no blank pages in the full text) for submission. Do not compress multiple files of individual chapters into a single compressed package for upload; otherwise, the review will not be approved.
For classified theses, users only need to log in to the Thesis Submission System to fill in the information form. There is no need to upload the full text or submit a printed copy.
If a thesis authorized for public access and publication contains content that is inappropriate for public release, the thesis applicant and their supervisor must conduct declassification processing on the thesis before submitting it to the library. Otherwise, if any information leakage occurs during the library's collection of the thesis, the thesis author and supervisor shall bear the losses and relevant legal responsibilities on their own.
After the successful submission of the electronic thesis, please log in to the thesis submission page within 3-5 working days (during peak submission periods) and select Thesis Inquiry to check the review result.
If the review is approved: Confirm that your personal information is available in the graduation clearance system before submitting the printed version of the thesis to the library and completing the graduation clearance procedures.
If the review is rejected: Check the reasons for rejection and revise the thesis in accordance with the modification suggestions provided by the staff until the review is approved.
(V) Those who fail to comply with the above regulations will not be processed for graduation clearance procedures by the Thesis Office.

B. Before submission, all students must check to confirm that the version they are submitting is the final version agreed upon with their supervisor. Once the thesis is approved through review, the system will automatically close and no modifications will be allowed.
