Borrowing Regulations
  1. Access & Identification: Entry to the library requires avalid Campus Card (Smart Card).The use of another person's library card is strictly prohibited. Violations will be dealt with according to library policies.

  2. Open-Shelf Access: Most collections are on open shelves for browsing. After browsing, please re-shelve books correctly or place them on the designated re-shelving carts to maintain order.

  3. Borrowing Limits:

Faculty & Staff: 30 items

Graduate Students: 24 items

Undergraduate Students: 20 items

Students of Online Education College & Continuing Education College: 10 items

All Other Patrons: 3 items

  1. Loan Period & Renewals: The standard loan period is 60 days. Items can be renewed twice if they are not overdue and no other reservations. Each renewal extends the due date by 30 days. You may renew items online via your library account or using the public catalog terminals. Please handle all equipment with care. Report any malfunction to the service desk.

  2. Hold/Reservation Service: Currently available to Faculty and Graduate Students only. A maximum of 2 items that are currently checked out may be placed on hold. Held items will be kept at the service desk for 7 days upon return. Unclaimed items will be returned to general circulation.

  3. Checkout Procedure: All materials must beproperly checked out at the service desk or aself-service checkout station before being taken from the library.

  4. Library Materials & Space Use: Removing unchecked items from the library is prohibited. Do not use books or library materials to reserve seats in study areas or lock them in personal lockers. Violators will be penalized.

  5. Security Check: If the security alarm is activated when passed the security gate, you must cooperate fully with library staff for inspection.Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

  6. Conduct & Environment: To maintain aquiet and clean study environment: set all communication devices to silent or vibrate mode; no eating, drinking, littering, or loud conversationin the library stacks and reading areas.

  7. Personal Property & Safety: You are responsible for your personal belongings. Keep valuables (phones, wallets, credit cards, laptops) with you at all times. The library is not liable for loss or theft. For everyone's safety: Smoking is strictly forbidden. Do not tamper with air conditioners, fans, or fire safety equipment.
