Inter-Campus Loan Service

(Request Books from Any Campus for Pickup at Your Nearest Library)

This service allows you to request books from any SCUT campus library and pick them up at the library most convenient to you. Submit your request online through the system below.

Service Suspension: Not available duringwinter and summer vacations.

2. How to Request a Book

1. Log In: Access your'My Library' account (click the login icon at the top-right of the Library Catalog page).

2. Search: Find the book you need in theLibrary Catalog.

3. Request: Click on the book title to view its details. If the book is available at another campus, click the' Request' button.

4. First-Time Users: You mustverify your email addressin your personal profile before your first request. (SMS notifications are not currently available.)

3. Service Details

1. Borrowing & Returning: You may borrow and return books atany campus library, regardless of where the book is originally housed.

2. Making a Request:If a book isnot availableat your campus library (e.g., all copies are checked out), you may request it from another campus where its status is'Available'. You will be notified by email when the book arrives at your chosen pickup location. Request status can also be tracked in'My Library'.

3. Returns: Books can be returned to theservice deskofany campus library.

4. Policy Limits

Request Limit: Up to 4 active books per week.

5. Pickup Window

Requested items will be held for you for6 working daysafter arrival at the pickup library.
