Study Room Booking

The IC Learning Commons is located on the 4th floor of the South Building in the Wushan Campus Library, and on floors 2-5 of the Guangzhou International Campus Library. It is a modern learning space designed to support study, research, discussion, and collaboration. Equipped with computers, network access, cable TV, projectors, and discipline-specific software, it is an ideal environment for both individual work and group study. The Wushan Campus Library offers 17 study rooms of various sizes, and the Guangzhou International Campus Library offers 25 study rooms. All rooms can be booked by university faculty and students through the online booking system.

1. Guidance for Wushan Campus study rooms:

3. Booking Rules & Credit Points System:

Each user begins with 300 credit points:

First violation: 100 points deducted, same-day booking suspended.

Second violation: 200 points deducted, same-day booking suspended.

300 or more points accumulated: 7-day booking suspension.

A violation is recorded if:

Fewer than 2 users checking in is considered one violation by the primary booking user. For this situation, 100 points will be deducted with same-day booking blocked;

No user checking in is considered one violation by the primary booking user. For this situation, 100 points will be deducted with same-day booking blocked;

If user behavior disturbs others and continues after a warning, staff may deduct additional points.
